What an incredible day in Moss Landing. There's a saying, "My coldest winter , was a summer in San Francisco" Obviously nobody on the east coast would say that, but the justification is, you expect summers to be warm , but in Northern California, the fog rolls in and the wind picks up, and summer is just miserable. Fall and Winter are the times to go sailing on the Monterey Bay.

Yup, this lake is the Pacific Ocean.

Who else was out there??? One other boat. And that's my beef. Why? Because I'm on a waiting list to get a permanent slip out on Moss Landing. I would say that less than 1% of the boats at Moss Landing go out more than 2 times a year. There's a lot of money being spent on boats slips, and no one uses their boats. Let's not go in and say how many times a decade the boats over 35 feet go out.
